What kinds of portrait sessions do you offer?
I photograph branding portraits,  high school seniors, creative portraits, and personal portrait sessions in and around Colorado Springs. Some clients come to me because they need images for a website or business, some are celebrating graduation, and others simply want portraits that feel thoughtful, natural, and true to who they are right now.
What is personal branding photography?
Personal branding photography is a collection of intentional images that help you show up clearly and confidently in your business. It goes beyond a traditional headshot by showing who you are, what you do, how you work, and what your brand feels like.
Your images can be used on your website, social media, email marketing, online profiles, and other business materials. The goal is to create a gallery that feels like you and gives you useful, beautiful content for marketing your business.
What if I feel awkward in front of the camera?
Most people do! You don’t need to arrive knowing how to pose. I’ll guide you through the whole session with simple direction, movement, and prompts so you’re not left wondering what to do with your hands or face. My goal is to make the experience feel relaxed and collaborative, and to create images that feel like you rather than a stiff version of you.
How much do portrait sessions cost?

Portrait sessions in the Colorado Springs area begin at $400, with final pricing depending on the type of session, location, length, and what you’d like included. Branding sessions begin at $650. For full pricing and availability, please reach out through the contact form and I’ll send over the session options that best fit what you’re looking for.
Will my photos be shared online?

Not necessarily! Not every image has to live online. If you would prefer your photos to stay completely private, I completely respect that.  Your gallery will never be shared on my website, social media, portfolio, advertising, or any other public platform without your written permission.
For clients who are comfortable with selective sharing, we can also choose specific images together, share only non-identifying detail shots, or wait until a later date. You’re always in control of how your images are used.
Do you retouch images?
I lightly edit all final images for color, light, and polish, but I do not heavily retouch skin, reshape bodies, alter faces, or remove permanent features. Temporary distractions like blemishes, bruises, stray hairs, clothing wrinkles, or background distractions can be cleaned up when needed. But my goal is never to make you look like someone else - it’s to create images that feel natural, beautiful, and true to you.
If there’s something you feel self-conscious about, please tell me before your session so I can support you with posing, lighting, and direction in a way that enhances your features.
What’s included in the session fee?
Your session includes more than the time we spend taking photos. Before your shoot, we’ll talk through the overall feel you want, choose a location, plan outfits, and make sure the session fits you - whether that means polished brand images, relaxed senior portraits, or creative portraits that simply feel like this season of your life.
During the session, I’ll guide you through posing, movement, expression, and small details so you don’t have to arrive knowing exactly what to do. Afterward, I carefully select and edit your final images so they feel polished, natural, and true to you. You will receive a select number of digital images, depending on the package you choose. Your gallery will have an online store, so you can order professional quality prints directly from there, or you are free to print your images at your print shop of choice.
The goal is to give you a gallery that feels personal, intentional, and easy to use - whether you’re sharing it online, sending graduation announcements, updating a website, or keeping the images for yourself.
Where do sessions take place?
Portrait sessions can take place outdoors, in your home, at your business or studio, in a rented studio space, or at another location that fits the feel you want for your images. I photograph portraits in Colorado Springs and surrounding areas, and I’m happy to help choose a location that works well with your style, comfort level, and the type of images you need.
What should I wear?
Wear something that feels like you, fits comfortably, and makes you feel confident. Before your session, I’ll help you think through outfits, colors, layers, and small details so your clothing supports the overall feel of the images rather than distracting from you.
You’re welcome to bring more than one outfit, depending on the session package you choose.
When will I receive my images?
Turnaround time depends on the type of session and the season, but I’ll let you know the current delivery timeline before you book. Once your images are ready, you’ll receive a private online gallery where you can download your final digital images and order prints if you’d like.
How do I book a session?
Start by reaching out through the contact form and telling me a little about what you’re looking for. I’ll send over session options, pricing details, and available dates. Once we choose the right session and date, your booking will be confirmed with a signed agreement and retainer.
Do you ever photograph sessions for free?
I’m not able to offer free sessions in exchange for exposure or portfolio use. Every portrait session involves much more than the time we spend taking photos, including planning, communication, travel, editing, gallery preparation, equipment, software, and years of experience.
That said, I do occasionally offer model calls, creative collaborations, or discounted sessions when I’m working on a specific personal project. If one of those opportunities is available, I’ll share the details publicly.
